I used to work on that (see, if
you're interested. It had both LaTeX and plain TeX) but around April I
started getting weird format corruption issues (loading the format gave
different macro values then dumped...) which couldn't be reproduced in
small examples, making the entire thing unusable. Since neither the
source nor even debugging symbols were available for LuaMetaTeX, debugging
engine issues wasn't fun and reminded me why I normally stick to open
source software.
So it's currently not functional and there are no plans to revive it at
the moment.
